Yearbook Information
Hello South students and families!
Your 2026 yearbook is currently at print. We still have a limited number of copies available for pre-sale; the price is $75. We do not sell yearbooks through SchoolPay.  All sales are done through our Jostens sales portal at this link. There is a $3.99 service fee.

Any books still available for purchase at distribution (predicted for the first week in June, before seniors' last day) will be $80 at the door.
If you can't remember if you've purchased a yearbook, here are the sales lists as of April 2:
If your student is not on the list, but you think they should be, please search the email account you would have used to make the purchase for the terms "Jostens" and  "confirmation," and make sure the message is from after Aug. 30, 2025.
  • If your student is not on the list, and no purchase confirmation comes up in your email search, you have likely not purchased a yearbook yet.
If you have further questions, email yearbook adviser Bobbie Willis at willis_b@4j.lane.edu. Thank you for supporting South yearbook!
Forecasting! Happening Now!

Forecasting is happening now! Information is available via Canvas class pages, and students have opportunities in upcoming classes/advisories to plan for next year!

Attendance Letters

Attendance is a partnership between students, families, and schools. We want students to experience everything South has to offer, together with staff and peers, as regularly as possible. Formal, mailed letters are one ongoing effort to ensure families are receiving communication when unexcused absences are occurring, disrupting student learning and indicating potential concerns. When a student misses more than three days (12 total class periods) with unexcused absences, a notification letter is automatically created and then mailed home. Additional absences may lead to outreach by school staff to schedule family conferences in an effort to work together on addressing issues.

If you receive one of these letters and have additional questions, please reach out to administrators or counselors for assistance. If you need to communicate about excused absences, please call 541-790-8008 or email dialsehs@4j.lane.edu
