Do you like writing letters and earning volunteer hours? If so, Letters for Rose is the club for you! Letters for Rose meets in room 304 every Tuesday during lunch. Please join us in bringing cheer to members of our community.

Native American Student Union is meeting tomorrow in Room 306. Indigenous Americans are encouraged to come check it out!

BSU is meeting Wednesday in Dunkin's Room 204

COLLEGE REP

A rep from UC Santa Cruz will virtually visit South students this Wednesday, April 23th at 11:55. You’re welcome to come to the College and Career Center for the visit if you want to be excused from part of your period 3 class.

Seniors! Headed to LCC next year? You don’t have to pay the LCC application deposit. Contact Lori Sauter in the College and Career Center for the deposit waiver code. And, by the way, an LCC rep will be in the College and Career Center on Tuesday, May 6th at 11:45 to help you register to attend.

HIRING FAIR 

Seniors! There will be a hiring fair on May 8th for students headed into the workforce after high school. Many local employers will want to review your resume and talk to you. The deadline to register for the hiring fair is Monday, April 28th. Look at recent emails from Lori Sauter for details and registration information, or use the QR code on the whiteboard outside the College and Career Center.

HONORS

Seniors! If you have completed 120 hours of community service and have maintained a 3.5 GPA, you have qualified for District Honors Recognition. Please bring your completed documentation for this award, including all signatures verifying your volunteer hours, to Jessica in the counseling department before May 1^st.
