RUBY BRIDGES

Join us this Thursday morning to commemorate Ruby Bridges, who on November 14, 1960 became the first African American student to integrate into an elementary school in the South. We will meet at Washington Park at 7:45 and walk to school together to stand up for social justice, equity and inclusion in our schools. Hot drinks will be served!

COLLEGE & CAREER

This week, South’s College and Career Center will host 8 visits! Today, UCLA will hold a virtual visit at 10:50. The Marines will be in the Career Center at 12:05, and Prescott College will be here at 12:55. Tomorrow, Northern Arizona University will visit at 10, and we’ll have an apprentice lineman at lunchtime. Thursday, you can check out the University of Mississippi’s virtual visit, and in-person visits from the Army National Guard and Ithaca College. See you there!
