Congratulations to Nick Burdick, Nathaniel Fleming, Andrew Hopkins, Eric Larson, Torin Rudeen, Caroline Wang, and Moor Xu whose excellent scores on the American Mathematics Contest 12 earned them invitations to take the American Invitational Mathematics Examination. They will be honored at a banquet in Portland next month. A special congratulations to Eric Larson whose high score on the AIME qualified him to take the USA Mathematical Olympiad. This is a prestigious event as only 500 students from about 12,000 AIM participants were invited to take this 9 hour test. Good luck Eric!
