Senior Skip Day – August 14th, 2010 @ The Vet’s Club, 7:00pm ‘til ????
Join us for an evening of fun, conversation, libations, and just maybe a bit of dancing (do ya think??). We are inviting all SEHS Classes from 1973-1977 to join with SEHS Class of 1975 for a “One Night Only” event at the venerable Vet’s Club in Eugene, Oregon.
Please note this is an “Over age 21” gathering.
Other details:
Casual attire (dancing shoes for sure); Eugene’s Finest DJ (Thanks to Carleen Jackson Robinson) will be spinning old and new hits for our enjoyment; Plenty of room for seating as well as dancing in the Upper Ballroom; No-host bar; Limited menu food options from the restaurant (sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, etc. etc.); Limited cost - $10 per head to cover the cost of room rental, DJ, and any other out of pocket costs. Any surplus will be donated to SEHS directly; What else have we missed??
As noted, this is a “One Night Only” planned event – i.e. the only “planned” event for the weekend. DO NOT LET THIS STOP YOU FROM ORGANIZING OTHER FUN GATHERINGS AMONGST YOURSELVES OVER THE WEEKEND! A few thing folks have enjoyed in past years include golf, butte climb, winetasting, great local restaurants, Saturday Market, University tours, and the like. Eugene and the surrounding area has many fun, interesting and scenic activities to enjoy during this time of year. PLAN SOMETHING, INVITE PEOPLE AND ENJOY THE TIME!
Final word(s) – we are not using a service or company to plan this event. This means we are relying on “WORD OF MOUTH” and “THE WEB” to get the word out. We will be sending an email to all SEHS 1975 grads we have on our email list (circa 2005) so, FOR THOSE OF YOU IN OTHER CLASSES – SPREAD THE WORD, if you would!
And lastly – while we are not requiring deposits or RSVP’s, it would be nice if y’all would respond sometime before August if you will be attending so we can get a semi-accurate head count for the folks at the Vet’s Club. Go to Facebook, type in “SEHS Class of 1975 Reunion” and become a fan. If Facebook is not your thing, send us an email to pnoir1@verizon.net .

An informal "Meet and Greet" will start at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at The Cooler Restaurant & Bar, 20 Centennial Loop, Eugene. The Class of 1959 reunion will be 4-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at The Country Inn, 4100 County Farm Road, Eugene.

South Eugene Class of '84 ~ 25-Year Reunion (Updated July 22, 2009):
Weekend of August 1st.
Friday, July 31st, everyone will meet at the Steelhead bar at 7:00 pm. Pay your own way.
Saturday, August 1st, will be an adults only dinner at the Oregon Electric Station, also at 7:00 pm, pay as you go, menu selections. Those who have paid already will be refunded $25 per adult to offset their bill.
Sunday, August 2nd will be a fully catered picnic at Alton Baker park (The big shelter #2) starting at noon; food to be served at 12:30. For those who have not already paid, the prices will be $45 per adult/$10 for each child under 18, collected at the picnic. The menu will be BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Corn on the Cob, Baked Beans, Fruit Salad, Green Salad, and Papa's Pizza. Water, juice, and soda will be provided, as well as wine and beer all in.
